Make credits explained: what uses credits

Make bills in credits. Each time a module in a scenario performs an action, it uses credits. Most actions cost 1 credit. Some AI features that run on Make's AI Provider can cost more. One scenario run can use two credits or thousands. It depends on how many modules run and how many items they process.

Iterators multiply credits. Every item that passes through a later module counts as another action. Filters between modules don't use credits, and neither do routers.

What happens when you run out

Your scenarios stop until you add credits. Incoming webhooks wait in a queue, up to your webhook queue limit, and get processed when you resume.
You can buy extra credits in bundles of 1,000 or 10,000. On Core, Pro and Teams, you can also turn on auto-purchase of 10,000 credits.
Unused credits expire at the end of the term. Extra credits expire after a month on monthly plans. On annual Pro and Teams plans, they expire at the end of the year.
